Terra Plana – Shoes On a Mission
I’m a sucker for Ferragamos, Blahniks and Louboutins but let’s face it, don’t you think that sometimes you can’t really tell them apart from Nine West shoes (except for the red heel)?
And – as a good friend who tells it the way it is says – expensive shoes are for people who are chauffeur-driven to work (or take cabs to work). They don’t have to deal with the streets (especially in NYC) killing their beloved shoes. That being said – if we were to spend money in this economy on shoes, shouldn’t we spend it on shoes that look different…and make a difference?
Terra Plana shoes look different from your run-of-the-mill designs. And because they use organic materials, they make a difference to this world too. Check out the Juniper shoes. These are made from veggie leather! The Derida shoes too!

And these shoes are good for your feet too. For example, the Dopie Eva is supposed to free your feet and make you feel like you’re walking barefoot (which is good for your feet). And with shoes available in a myriad of colors like the Juniper Quilt and the Lauren Quilt…who needs to spend a fortune on shoes?

Although I still wouldn’t say no to a pair of Lanvins…Terra Plana goes on sale at reduced prices on Juxzy tomorrow (March 12, 2009) at 11AM EST…
